Classically trained in piano/theory and minored in classical vocal, Monggur Tumbuck is truly cosmopolitan. She’s of Indonesian Batak, Chinese and Peruvian descent. With 10 years of experience singing in various night spots, Monggur's repertoire ranges from contemporary Pop music performed in the style of jazz and bossa nova to classica rock and ever greens. Her passion for singing has evolved from singing Batak folk songs as a kid to choral, with the Singapore Youth Choir to Top 40s band. Recently, Monggur also did backing vocals for Barry Manilow, Francis Yip, Coco Lee, etc.
